About the Project:
For 22 years, the firm has held its annual Chairman’s Dinner in April. Historically, this is a time where the organization can take a break from the hectic nature of tax preparation, have a meal together, and celebrate the state of the company. When D&S’ marketing team came to BLME, they were looking for a way to recreate that intimate, special experience in a virtual setting.

Processes:
Beth, as the primary contact for this event, initially met with the D&S marketing team to hear an overview of the event goals and how virtual catering could support those goals, as well as the theme for this year’s dinner and the items that were included with the delivery to create a fun, tangible experience.
Then, Beth met with the team at Dineable (one of our preferred partners) to select a caterer and a menu for the event. After client approval, we sent a form to each attendee to collect information on dietary restrictions and preferences, as well as delivery information. From there, the partners worked with the internal D&S team to make sure that all who would be in attendance responded in a timely fashion.
Once all forms were received, the partners worked with the event’s catering partner, 12th Street Catering, to create a custom menu item for individuals who are outside of the immediate delivery zone. Thankfully, we were able to select an option that would work across all dietary restrictions and be able to be shipped directly to them.
The BLME team coordinated pickup and delivery of swag box items, staying in touch with the D&S team to ensure that all inclusions were received, and worked with the Dineable team to confirm receipt of shipments and deliveries ahead of the event.
Results:
The 86 person team was able to share a catered meal together, virtually, in a time where it was impossible to connect
