The State of the Event Industry: From Live to Virtual and Back Again
Let’s just say it: 2020 was a hell of a year for the event industry. No matter what you had on our calendars in Q1 of this year, we bet that your year was just like ours: mostly virtual, with some safe, small and socially-distanced events and activities in between. What started as a 2-week quarantine has turned into a complete societal and lifestyle shift, where work is home, home is work and our computers, cameras and microphones are our lifeline.
It has been announced that major live events, such as the traditional New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square or Philadelphia’s Mummers Day Parade, have been cancelled or pivoted to virtual celebrations.
So, what’s a planner to do? How do you plan for a future that is unforeseen; a future which needs to adapt as the virus does?
We’re thrilled to bring together industry experts to discuss the State of the Event Industry in 2021: From Live to Virtual and Back Again. Join us on our partner platform, Lemonade, November 16, 2020 for this half-day event.
